What does depression look like for you?
Depression is something that stays with you. Some days may be better than others, but each day is a constant struggle and battle. It is something that can be hidden well and appear in different forms so it’s not obvious who has depression.
Have you been touched, or do you know someone who has been touched, by depression or other mental disorder?
Your meaningful message you would say to someone who is currently going through depression or other mental disorder:
It’s okay to have depression. It’s how you handle and channel it in productive ways. I have found it to be a powerful tool in being creative because I use those emotions to draw and write. Each day is going to be a battle so find people that you can trust and feel supported by and do activities that motivate you to do your best each day.
